Noah Jordan creates hyper-realistic paintings with themes of transformation, ethereal beauty and the sacred intelligence of nature. Drawing on his exploration of psychoactive plant medicines, dreams and meditation, his work is a devotional practice offering glimpses of what lies at the intersection of the visible world and visionary experience. His art bridges the gap between the tangible and the transcendent, embodying both contemporary realism and spiritual inquiry.

At The Art Students League of New York, Jordan studied under master artists such as Costa Vavagiakis and Sharon Sprung, renowned for her official portrait of Michelle Obama for the White House. He served as Ms. Sprung's teaching assistant for several years, joining her in Florence, Italy, to assist in her portrait painting workshop at the Florence Academy of Art. He was selected to participate in the Art Students League's prestigious, fully funded career development program helmed by artist Marc Dennis. He holds a BFA in drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MA in spiritual psychology from USM.

Noah earned the Robert Y. Kimura Merit Scholarship, “Best in Show” and several other awards at the Phyllis Harriman Mason Gallery. His work has been featured on Beautiful Bizarre Magazine’s website, Vasari Oil Paint’s online blog and Linea; the Art Students League’s quarterly magazine. He was awarded a residency at The Alchemy in Los Angeles and was a finalist in Artist Magazine’s 33rd Annual Art Competition. Shows in NYC include two group shows curated by Perspective Collective and two solo shows in business venues. He lives and works in New York’s picturesque Hudson Valley.
