I create hyper-realistic paintings exploring transformation, ethereal beauty, and the sacred intelligence of nature. Drawing on my work with psychoactive plant medicines, dreams and meditation, my paintings offer glimpses into the intersection of visionary experience and the physical world. My practice bridges the tangible and the transcendent, combining contemporary realism with spiritual inquiry.

I had read the books, practiced yoga and meditation, and earned a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology—but it was my work with the shamanic plant medicines of the Amazon rainforest that rearranged my life in the most profound way. These often arduous, awe-inspiring experiences opened the door to profound healing and revealed a latent gift for painting that might otherwise have remained dormant. I offer deep gratitude to the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon for safeguarding this ancestral wisdom and for their generosity in sharing it with the world.

Inspired by traditional Old Master techniques, I build each painting in layers, from opaque to translucent, evoking depth and luminosity that almost seems to emanate from within. I often use sacred geometric patterns—some drawn from traditional Shipibo Kené designs, some from the patterns embedded within biological systems and others from imagination. Through this work, I aim to create a bridge between inner and outer worlds, ancestral and contemporary knowledge, and to remind us of our relationship with the Earth, the cosmos, and the intelligence that breathes through everything.
